Movement is a central part of my life. From a young age, I found joy and expression through dance and fitness, eventually turning my passion into a career. For 25 years, I owned and operated a successful dance studio, where I empowered others through creativity, discipline, and movement.

After selling the studio to spend more time with my family and focus on personal wellness, I found a deeper commitment to my health through yoga and functional fitness. I am a certified 500-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher (YRT), Yoga Sculpt Instructor, and Functional Movement Therapist trained in the Egoscue Method. I credit my yoga and movement practices for bringing balance and clarity to both my body and mind.

But it is a personal health experience that truly shifts my path.

At age 47, I began experiencing intense monthly migraines that coincide with my menstrual cycle. My doctor recommended birth control pills and migraine medication, but neither offered relief — and instead left me feeling worse. Alongside the migraines, I noticed joint pain, muscle fatigue, hot flashes, and unexplained weight gain, even though I live an active, healthy lifestyle.
A friend suggested I get my hormone levels checked, and the results were eye-opening — my estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels are all near zero. I was no longer producing these essential hormones. This lead me to bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, and the shift was life-changing.

I had always believed that the discomforts of perimenopause were just something to “tough out.” But once I experienced real relief, I realized how much misinformation and silence surrounds this stage of life for women.

This awakening inspires me to dive deep into women’s hormone health, perimenopause, and holistic wellness. I see how little support is available and feel called to change that — not just for myself, but for other women who are also struggling in silence.

I am now on a mission to educate, support, and empower women through every stage of life. I became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in June 2025, and I am passionate about combining movement, mindfulness, and holistic nutrition to help women feel strong, vibrant, and seen.
